Washington Radiology's first mammogram appointment of the day is at 6:45 am. I made the appointment and received an email confirmation that said to arrive 15 minutes early. When I arrived at about 6:25, the office building was locked. I was finally let into the building and took a seat in the dark first-floor office of Washington Radiology. Having the same issues as others here -- have been trying to contact someone to resolve a billing issue and have been unsuccessful. They overcharged me and I am trying to get a refund. I also tried to use the electronic contact form on their website, but I get an error message every time I try to submit it. Very frustrating to say the least.
Been a patient here for over 20 years. Doctors and techs are good, but their administrative business office is atrocious. No one calls you back especially when they make an error in your billing, get the runaround. This has happened for the past three years. this year, is a new record of 7 phone calls to get to the bottom of my matter and I am still not sure it's been taken care of and will need to call yet again. Just adding my review to the many, many other reviews that call attention to the fact that this firm will do everything it can to not answer the phone or otherwise engage in any human contact. If you succeed in navigating the numerous systems, hold times, auto-emails, auto-calls, and similar, and you get successfully scheduled, congratulations.
I thought I was going to die during the mammogram. The pressure was so intense that I couldn't breath, even less so ask for help. The nurse was taking her time behind me. When she released the pressure from the machine, the pain was so intense that I collapsed, without looking at me, she walked right out of the office and slammed the door. My breast tissue teared and I have chronic inflammation since that visit. I might have to have surgery. I hope they won't take down my review like last time.
This place is an absolute joke...can't get ahold of anybody to see if i have a balance... you'd think they'd want my money?! Tried every phone number I could and also submitted the electronic request form and nothing. Seems to be a common theme in these reviews. To rub salt in the wound their 'hold music' is a message that continuously loops the message "thanks for holding someone will be right with you" over and over and over.
Terrible customer service. After 3 weeks no one is able to send me my results. This is a place for breast cancer screening and they treat it like a joke. I will have to repeat the mammogram because I don't trust this people.
With a 2.5 star rating, I am surprised that Washington Radiology has more than 1 star. Again, they failed me by not returning my call. Over a month ago, my doctor said that I need to get a MRI asap. After several calls and leaving messages ... NO CALL BACK. Last week, I actually got a real person on the phone at WR (had to dial the # for doctors only). So I got a real person. Service was fine. Billing department is awful. Paid two bills the day received. Payments mailed separately at Post Office. Both checks cashed same day by Washington Radiology and recorded by my bank the next day. I HAVE COPIES OF THE CASHED PAYMENTS. But only one was credited. Account number correct on the check. Have now received same bill three times. Incompetent. Will never use Washington Radiology again because of this.
