To say I was very nervous about trying to get a mortgage online would be a gross understatement! Banking and shopping online are daily occurrences, but a mortgage! I plugged the information into Zillow and selected a couple of brokers (Hamilton, Atlantic, Watermark) with the lowest costs and was expecting to get the information and then go mortgage shopping at a brick-and-mortar. Kory Matthys from Watermark was very responsive to my initial inquiry, and all other questions throughout the loan process. We ran into minor technical difficulties in sending and receiving faxes, but he was able to troubleshoot the issue. Normally, I wouldn't even mention it, but due to having an existing 2nd (a HELOC) we wanted to keep in place, the 3rd party lender demanded more documentation than expected, which required more faxing than was expected that resulted in some faxing issues with Watermark's 3rd party fax serv... read more

We had several hiccups along the way (lender was slow, house appraisal company was slow), but Paul was very good about following up immediately to my questions and pushing things along.

I had a great experience with Watermark. Originally I had a loan on my primary home with CitiMortgage. About 9 months ago I decided to refinance with CitiMortgage again to shorten my term and lower the rate. Although I ended up getting it done, it was a total nightmare with CitiMortgage. When I saw rates go even lower, I decided to refinance again and shorten the term event further. My last two home purchases have been handled by Watermark and they turned out to be flawless transactions, the most recent one just a few months ago. During the uncertain and often frustrating process of purchasing a home, Watermark was there to help us through it. It was comforting to know that we had Watermark looking out for our best interests every step of the way. We don't plan to purchase another home for a while, but when we do we will definitely use Watermark again. Thank you!

I want to thank Patrick for everything that he has done to make the re-fi a success for me, and not to mention, he got me a great deal and it closed on time. He was very understanding, accommodating and diligent in making sure that I was being charged the correct fees and removed fees that should not be there, and fixed items on the documents that needed to be corrected. I will definitely recommend Patrick's services and company to family and friends. Much appreciation for what Patrick's team has done!

I closed my refinance with Paul. He was very responsive. They give me accurate GFE and overall transaction was very smooth, even though I had to point out that they missed the lender's credit in the first HUD. That was fixed immediately and overall I was satisfied by their service.

I closed the refinancing loan with Watermark Home Loans (broker Matt Hoey). Everything was great, I've got the rate that was promised in the beginning. Matt was very quick when I needed something from him and patient when he needed something from me. He would contact me the way that was the easiest for me (email), answer tons of my questions related and not very related to the loan process. I highly recommend him.
