There was a miscommunication regarding my primary residence that led myself and my aunt Aruna to take a lot of steps towards the end of the process. Because Mikey and Gus did not communicate my New Orleans LA address we had to pay for a power of attorney the week of the closing. I believe we were charged either $200 or $300. This is not fair since the communication occurred on your end not ours. You all should have verified our addresses especially since you all prepare the docs and mortgages.

Good: he was very responsive and pleasant when I reached out to him Not so good: the appraisal situation was a little odd. He didn't seem to have any power to influence or get any updates on the process. No one knew if/when it was going to be scheduled until it was on the calendar with the listing agent. And it was very delayed (which is normal in this market) and very last minute (I think he scheduled it for the next day, after a few weeks of hearing nothing from him). Everything was great until a week prior to closing. Last min closing documents were required. This is typical. I supplied a revised purchase agreement and was never told until 3 days later that it did not meet requirements. In addition, closing documents needed to be prepared several times. Because of this we did not close on time. Go Mortgage let me down on this one.

We had issues with getting clear instructions on filling out and signing certain paper work that caused us and our builder to have to resubmit forms several times.
