I've lived here since January and have been happy with the apartment as well as the staff. Whenever anything goes wrong breaks or need fixing OWEN my building maintenance is there ASAP with a smile on his face (:! I love knowing that I pay for a place that will do whatever I need whenever I need it. He is a very hard working positive person and wheelhouse should be very thankful for him! I recently had to move to another part of town and into a new place, everyone that I talked with was amazingly helpful! Kayla Driscoll was my leasing agent and she was the absolute best! I had to change my dates around and she was entirely assistive, and I love the apartment I moved into. I would suggest them in a second to any of my freinds!
I had a great experience with Wheelhouse living in Sherman Commons. They were accommodating, fixed issues as soon as they arouse, and communicated well through out my almost two years living there. As a property management company, I understand that there is a lot to manage around town. Having folks over to sweep or rake leaves, shovel snow, etc in a timely manner was much appreciated. My experience with Wheelhouse (since April 2015) has been pretty outstanding. I live in the Altair apartment building - I wanted to take this opportunity to highlight some of the great work that these guys do. First, the cleaning crew that comes into our apartment building to clean the common areas - they do great work! They even pull out the washers and dryers to clean behind and around the machines. Wheelhouse Apartments recently purchased my former property from Brownstone Realty. What a change. I was less than satisfied with the building and decided to terminate my lease for reasons that don't bare weight for Wheelhouse. Crystal Bender walked me through every step of the way and made sure my experience was nothing less than spectacular. I rented my apartment at 1260 Pennsylvania St, Denver in July of 2012. I found the management to be friendly, helpful and empathetic to the other tenants. I have been very satisfied with all staff of Wheelhouse. Cap Hill is part of the historic district and the building has been well preserved. The building is cleaned properly weekly. Snow removal is timely. When there is an issue with maintenance, it is handled quickly. One personal example was a late night noisy neighbor. I am surprised to see the negative reviews on here my experience wasnt horrible at all. We moved in to the Kensington's a year ago. Greg the property manager was very professional and had the move-in process taken very quickly, no issues. For the area being close to belmar in lakewood, the price was a steal. Yes when we moved in, there were a couple people that were ghetto one household in particular but youll get that wherever you go. After living within the Wheelhouse Community for a few months, I quickly realized how much the managers of the properties do and how much time and effort they put into their work. I had one manager that was fantastic at my apartment complex. But if, for some reason, she was busy, I had the ability to go over to the apartments down the street and discuss matters with the manager at that facility. If you are looking for an apartment you know how sketchy online reviews can be. One person will give a 1 and the next a raving 5. This decision can feel completely unsteady and much like a gamble of where you will lay your head for the next 6-12 months. Well, let me give you some peace about renting with Wheelhouse....
