Useless on Vinyl Inground Pool Material Do not be tricked by high reviews. The Robot is useless in my pool, I followed directions from manual and videos. Constantly stops for no apparent reason and can’t climb the walls. Plus they charged me $43 to return this useless thing. Very disappointed.
Constantly jams. We bought one of these in January. Since then, I've had to take it apart to clean crud out of it at least twice a week. It wraps little strings from palm fronds around the impeller and drive mechanism, then freezes up. It's currently jammed up for no apparent reason after I completely disassembled it, cleaned everything and reassembled it several times. Seizes constantly on strands of grass, palm fronds, hair etc, NOT WORTH $300 - DO NOT BUY I bought this vacuum a couple months ago, attached the hoses, dropped it into the pool and it worked perfectly out of the box. However after a few days of use I noticed that it stopped working and was stuck in place at the bottom of the pool. After pulling it out, I noticed the rotary wheel on the bottom was stuck. Great when it works, but it works for about one minute then stops Not sure if I got a defective vacuum, but I just cannot get this thing to work consistently. I have cleaned my pool filters and even redirected all suction to the cleaner, which will get the vacuum going for a minute or so until it stops again. There are no clogs in it at all. The leaf net/basket is empty. It just stops. Really disappointed how much I wasted on this.

Disabled by dirt If there's nothing on the bottom of your pool it does fine. As soon as it encounters and sand or dirt itbstops dead in it's tracks

wasting my time well I guess I'm going to return this. It works for 5 mins then stops moving. This was supposed to free up time I stead it is wasting mine.
Juice isn't worth the squeeze We bought this vacuum 2 years ago. It has been nothing but a headache. We've had to buy new rubber tread for it 2x. And replaced several other items, cheap plastic clips that break off etc. When we bought it it was $300-400. But we assumed it would be worth it. It wasn't. We finally decided to quit blowing good money after bad and bought a different vacuum. It was $99 and works great! I would never buy this product again nor would I recommend to a friend.
Not worth it! This is a very finicky vacuum. It easily stops because it it can’t handle leaves or very thin pine needles. We regret buying this vacuum.
