Takes a LOT of suction power to run I have a 2hp motor and I have to turn off both skimmers to power this thing from the side port.

False advertising The company claims the cleaner works on variable pumps but it only works when the pump is on high When I tried to return it after 2 weeks...the company then said it wasn't defective and it was used so they wouldn't return it This is very poor customer service

Sorry, but it didn’t work for me :( Used inground pool. Only lasted one season. Expensive piece of junk. Don’t waste your money and mind. Buy something else, you’ll thank me later.

I don't recommend the MX6 pool vac (1/4 of a star) After installing the MX6 pool cleaner it ran for about an hour and stopped. The suction was working and there was no debris in the vacuum. I shook the vac and it started working again...for about 2 hrs and stopped again with only one side of the tread touching the pool floor. I turned the pump off and set it back to the normal run schedule, hoping that it would start working when the pumped turned back on. Not good for curved pool edges/walls Its good vacuum if your pool walls are straight. Unfortunately most pools have some degrees of curves on the corners in the pool. This vacuum does not know how to detach it from the curves, it gets stuck and wont move anywhere once it hits any of the curves. This is a bad design. What's the point to have a vacuum stay at one place and you have to constantly go and move it each time it does that. Returning it back!

does a good job on the pool bottom bought to clean the pool bottom; does a good job; does get hung up some on the steps and takes a while to turn itself around and move somewhere else; reliable; I would buy this again.
