Works for clean pools...should be called a pool maintainer. As with some of the other reviews, its great if your pool is already has no debris. Really wanted this thing to work, but tried to 3 days to get it to run for more than 30 minuted before having to pull it up and remove a leaf/twig. Had to issues with my previous cleaner with the same debris. Was trying to save a buck. FAIL.
Always gets stuck From early on, it would all of sudden stop moving in the pool. Even a small leaf would prevent the rotor from moving even under tremendous suction. Countless times I cleaned and maintained the cleaner only for it not to work properly. I should have given up on this pool cleaner a long time ago. I would never buy this product again.
Do not purchase from here horrible expierence Bought the Zodiac in February 2018, I have a smaller pool 12,000 gallons so the house was more than length I needed. However every 2 months one of the hoses would crack and or split... this happen continuous. Now currently I only have 1 hose attached which cant clean anymore... Seller wont help you besides telling you to reach the manufacture.... Issue it also caused was the constant issue caused my motor to overhead and burn out due to the random hose cracking and getting air...
Great Vacuum. Cheap hoses. Worked great in my concrete pool in the Phoenix area for 17 months. So much better and less maintenance than the Hayward which it happily replaced. Only initial issue of note will be encountered if you live near palm trees and encounter wind. In Phoenix that’s common. Thin strands of shredded palm frond will get wrapped around the paddles and stop it dead in its tracks. Needs improvement It works very slow, suction is good until a debris catcher is added to any section of the hose. Not very impressed with this item.
Defective product. This product is defective -- even after tightening all the hoses, the sweeper pulled in a considerable amount of air into my pump which made it very noisy and reduced the overall suction. My pool guy also said that the plastic band that it uses to move around tends to wear very quickly, leading to repair costs shortly after purchase.

Doesn't work This little vacuum is easy to set up and get started. Moves super slow for about 5 minutes and then stops and does nothing. Pressure is fine, pump is fine, filter is clean and ready. It just refuses to work right. I have used all the attachments and flow guides, used other hoses and have manually moved it to try and get it rolling, all with zero success. Just wanted a little help in keeping my pool clean and all I got was more work.
Looks Awesome, but don't let the looks deceive you. Does not work as described. Moves very slow with continueous stalls with complete stops will not climb walls without falling before even beginning to climb. Very poor suction even with my variable speed pump at max 3500rpm. Dont waste your money.
