Wish it sucked but can't even do that Simply doesn't last more than a year before you have to spend more money on parts (and hoses) just to make it run for a month. It will sit on the bottom of your pool and you will fiddle with it and look at YouTube but it will continue to frustrate. Just go back to hand vacuuming the pool.

Hi Beth, Thanks for your feedback. Sorry about the poor performance of your Zodiac MX6 Suction Side Pool Cleaner. Here are some suggestions: 1) Ensure the main drain is closed. 2) Check the wheel speed to verify proper flow. 3) Check for track wear. 4) Backwash the pool filter and empty the pump basket. 5) Check for jammed debris in the cleaner engine. 6) Check for air in the system. 7) Ensure the flow regulator valve moves freely. only works when it feels like it This is supposed to be an "automatic" pool cleaner. That is a joke when you have to hand start the wheels turning 3 days out of 5. Sometimes it does work on its own. Most days I have to pull it out of the pool and turn the wheels by hand to get it started. Will not buy it again.

Hoses break too easy It will be a year in March since I bought the zodiac in ground pool cleaner and it works really well but the only problem I am having is the hoses I Already had to replace 8 hoses and at 20.00 a piece which cost me an extra 160.00. The reason why I bought this vacuum was because it was a great deal but now spending more money on just hoses I already spent close to 600.00 I could have bought a much better vacuum if I knew the hoses were that flimsy. I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone

Simply not working I purchased the MX6 model about 2 years. A little after a year, it start to behave strange. The holes always bunching up, the cleaner always stops in one of the steps in the pool. After months of trying to decide whether to get rid of it. I decided to disassemble it and see what is wrong. I found one of the gears in the direction control module is broken. Thought that I have found the problem and searched the web and purchased direction control module. Pretty easy to replace it. Put it back to the pool and... read more
