Doesn't peform very well! Doesn't vacuum very well kicking up debris with the spinning blade underneath instead of vacuuming it In. Wouldn't climb walls and kept doing wheelies instead of staying flat on the pool floor no matter what flow adjustment I made. Very disappointed...
Clunky I don't understand the great reviews for this vacuum. We assembled it this morning and put it to work. It goes around a bit and then spins around about four times (to change direction presumably). Then it goes up the side and completely out of the water, thus sucking copious amounts of air into the pump system. Our old Hayworth went up the side, but never out of the water. As of now, it is sitting still on the bottom. I have no idea what its problem is. Not happy with this purchase.
Hunk of Junk We have had this cleaner for 13 months. It works great when the pool is clean, but once there is a leaf or two in the pool it comes to a grinding halt and never works properly again. I had it taken apart and completely cleaned out under warranty and it worked well for about 2 hours before meeting a small leaf and refusing to work for more than 6 inches ever again. Finally had enough and going back to Hayward!
Serious design flaw makes entire unit ineffective. This item is useless for picking up grass or leaves at the bottom of the pool. The obvious flaw in the design renders the unit completely ineffective. The needlessly complicated vacuum process cannot pick up leaves or grass, and the unit will come to a grinding halt each and every time it encounters a leaf. I can say with near total certainty that the designer of this unit, does NOT have one in his pool. No way.
Dont waste your money Runs about 2 or 3 minutes and stops Not worth it.
Doesn't Clean , it cleans 1/3 of the pool and stops many times and you have to reset again it cleans only 1/3 of the pool and stops many times and you have take out put back , works for 1/2 hour and stops. I called for support but no one seems to care after you pay for it. I have been trying to contact some one live at Amazon but it is almost impossible, they make you give up on trying , but I don't . Good luck
Just work like supposed to do Just got my new MX6 don’t work well just install in one hr get stok 10x when it’s move do good but stop ever 5 minutes I remove to see if something got inside but not put back works for fill minutes stop again
Don’t waste your time and money! The one thing I liked was it was delivered in 24 hours, that was a good start. That and the price was the only good things. Nothing would entice me to keep it. Have a large enough pump but no matter what it barely moved and only for 5 minutes . It’s going back on Monday! Oh and no customer support on a Saturday?
Not very good This thing got stuck on everything. Don’t bother
