Disappointed in this product Disappointed in this product. Does not work well, and for the price we paid, I would expect that the company would be responsive for assistance. The person on the phone knew less about this product than the man who cleans our pool.
Serious problem the company will not bother to fix! I would give this vacuum 5 stars except for one problem. It cleans well, is easy to use etc. However, the connection to the skimmer hole for the hose is only a pressure, press on connection. There is no where to "click" the hose on it, or twist it on. Therefore, it comes off after a while and stops working. If you leave home a few days, this will not be working while you are gone because the hose will come off the skimmer attachment. Worst Amazon purchase I've ever made... Apparently a lot of folks like this pool cleaner, but as far as I'm concerned it was a complete waste of money. I just took a brand new unit out of the box, assembled everything, put it in the pool. and turned on the pump. Checked the wheel rotation as per the setup guide and it was right in the sweet spot. Didn't work for me..... I have a 12000 gal in ground pool with a vinyl liner. I read the instructions made all of the adjustments according to the instructions, yet it would just spin in circles.
Gets stuck all the time I am constantly having to pull it free all the time. Gets stuck at the bottom of my built in steps. Once its stuck its done it will sit there all day until i pull the hose .
not impressed I have used the Hyward Navigator for over 10 years, only changed the foots two times, I remodeled the pool and wanted something new... then I got stock with this thing, barracuda? it will stop moving with a two inch leaf, pffff shame
Not Good at all..gets stuck every time.,, I have a variable speed pump with a salt water pool set up. I get oak tree leaves in my pool here and there, small leaves and it gets stuck and stops working every time. Backs up our pump and makes the pump work harder. We have to stop the system each time and free it up. Quite a expensive item that says it has no problem picking debris up and clearly it does. Not happy with this at all. Doesn't last Had unit for about 1 year. Every section of hose is cracked in multiple places and useless which renders the entire unit useless. Very disapointed.
The suction is good but still stopped and got really slow and ended ... This little vacuum started out ok, but spent more time along the sides of the pool than in the middle or going across. It also got really really slow and it would stop and when we thought it was stuck there would be nothing there.
