MX6, Nice looking. The Zodia MX6 starts out ok, but within minutes, it goes into a spin cycle. It turns and turns then starts climbing but soon returns to spinning. This happened after I had it past the return date. Otherwise I would have returned it. This product is quite expensive and it should have worked better. I do not recommend this product.
Caution: Don't trust the HYPE I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but when something isn't what it stands up to be... it should be pointed out. I bought this contraption a few months ago. Before I had a Hayward in the pool. I bought this because of all the positive reviews and because people wrote that it did an amazing job and I also watched the videos of how it cleans. Would reallly like to try this out Just received this Zodiac MX6 yesterday. There isn't a manual - found one online. Can't hook up to my new pool dedicated suction line. Apparently I need a Safety Vac Wall Fitting. Which the manual says is not included with the purchase. And it isn't included. Now I don't know which type of size of Safety Vac Wall Fitting to purchase. Does anyone have any idea where or what type of Safety Vac Wall Fitting I should purchase? Don't buy any zodiac products Don't buy any of their products. I stupidly bought this after my TR2D suctiom cleaner tire its diaphragm after a whole month. It just sits there on its back, I even made sure the float was exactly 9 inches from the cleaner.
BAD PRODUCT EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Bad product. Stopped working after using it 3 times. Then the company only gave us 1/2 a refund!!!! Ridiculous! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
One Star Product did not work and when I returned the item I did not get full credit. Do not buy.
Annoying propensity to get stuck. We have had this cleaner for almost 2 years and it has been a love hate relationship. I love that when it is not stuck at the swimout it actually cleans well. I hate that it is always stuck in the same spot continuously. Move it and it goes right back to the same spot almost like a magnet. I find this extremely annoying because it does it so frequently. Worked great the first few weeks I bought this unit last summer. Worked great the first few weeks, but then it went into going straight and falling back . No matter what I tried ( more hose, less hose, pool vacuum hose, etc), it would fall backwards, so I'm disappointed with this robot, this is the second summer and still only cleans a few feet then falls backwards, I've reduced the suction, everything and to no avail it sucks...no pun intended ! Haha
