Horrible. This thing is horrible. You have to have the exact and I mean exact suction. 50 rpm on my pump to much and it tips on its back. 50 rpm too little and it doesn't move. Sound like once you figure out the correct rpm or suction valve positing it would be easy. It's not. It changes each time based on how clean/dirty your filter is. It takes me an hour to get this thing to run properly. Then you have to watch it the entire time. I just vacuum the thing myself.

He said that he had similar complaints in the past. I have returned it and will replace it with a completely different unit.

NEED 25/ gal min suction pressure to work properly! not enough suction pressure in my pool for this unit to work properly. This unit needs about 25 gal/min to work correctly. mine was only pulling about 18 gal/ min. I tested this by putting the suction hose in a 5 gallon bucket of water submerged almost completely in pool and timed how long it took to empty bucket. @ 30 gal/min Your suction hose should be able to suction out .5 gal/sec or empty the 5 gallon bucket in 10 sec. @ 25 gal/min Your suction hose should be able to s... read more
