Bought a transmission and it crapped out after 9 months. After numerous phone calls and long waits i finally got them to honor warranty and replace it. Well its been less than a month and the replacement is already fucking up and getting ahold of someone is once again a nightmare. I wsnt my money back i cant afford the labor 3 times to install your garbage.

Another update 2 e-mails sent and t response. And still can’t get threw on the phone. Still have not received my order that has already been paid for for going on 2 weeks

Placed an order online today. It automatically said free shipping - called to inquire about how to pay for expedited shipping and was on hold for over 55 minutes each time prior to hanging up and trying again. Spent over 2 hrs and 40 mins cumulatively on hold with out ever getting to talk to someone. Meanwhile my car is in shop awaiting a part and charging for space. if anyone cares, my order today was #608370

Worse company to deal with. I received a box of parts that were missing and damaged. They sent me new parts to replace them. Then they did a claim through UPS for damaged box and got money from UPS. It was my box that was damaged to me. That money Detroit Axle got from UPS belongs to me. Then they asked for the parts to be returned. It was my claim through UPS not theirs. ive ordered for years from them. i had a bad part with bad customer service couple years ago. spoke to ED who said he is owner and gave me his cell. he took care of it asap and was great. but recently it has gotten terrible. i got a bad wheel hub assembly and had been trying for months to get it replaced. i even spoke with Ed and wasnt taken care of. Slow to answer calls. I order shocks and struts for a minivan and the were defective, did more damage to the vehicle than being helpful. They said it was the right parts even though they clearly sent non original parts. I was able to get the right parts from the local o’Riley at a lower cost. Customer service is one of the worst and it’s been almost half a year trying to get a refund since I ordered through Amazon. Overall the worst place to make a purchase for vehicles.

Ordered parts For my customer 10/10/20 and still don’t have them. I talk to customer serviced and still no parts order. Tried calling again and was automatically put on hold and waited 40 minutes before I had to hang up. I have emailed customer service to ask for full refund. At this point I wouldn’t recommend using Detroit axle
