**BUYER BEWARE **BUYER BEWARE **BUYER BEWARE **BUYER BEWARE** Detroit Axle sent me a malfunctioning automatic transmission. It didn't have reverse, 2nd or 3rd gear. I had to pay and additional $500.00 to have it removed and replaced. Detroit Axle didn't offer nor give any compensation, apology nor empathy for their negligence. **BUYER BEWARE **BUYER BEWARE **BUYER BEWARE **BUYER BEWARE**

My package never came. I’ve been trying to get in touch with this company all week. I have sent emails, waited at least 30 mins on the phone every day calling their customer hotline and no one answers. I’ve even tried the help chat. At this point I would just be happy to get my money back.

I'd leave no stars if possible. Not only did we receive junk defective parts but the customer service when trying to get a replacement was beyond appalling. We ordered a complete set of brakes and rotors for my vehicle. Less than 4 months and less than 4k miles later my car is in worse shape than it was prior to the replacement. So ordered a brake kit for my 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe. Was asked if a sport model answer is no. Asked to measure the rotor, I did. When sent out the brake pads in the front are incorrect. Now saying don’t carry pads for my model and offering a $ 15 Credit. I would not have bought from them if could not complete the job. Should have bought from rock auto.

I placed an order for a transmission and never received a communication. I have been calling for 2 weeks with no response and more than 45 minutes waiting time. Terrible service I had to call my credit card for a payment cancelation.

Since I'm unable to revise or add to previous reviews, I'd like to post the response I received from Detroit axle regarding my issue. Purchased a full strut set and 3 of the 4 struts failed after less than 2,000 miles- one strut began leaking and the valving in the other two failed which resulted in the struts causing banging sounds over bumps. SAME CRAPPY EXPERIENCE AS MIKE S. CHINESE JUNK, AVOID AT ALL COSTS , HAVE ALREADY SENT BACK JUNK STRUT AND RECEIVED NO CREDIT BACK. THEY KNOW THEY'RE SELLING JUNK

Purchased a complete strut kit from these people on Amazon. 3 of the 4 strut units failed after less than 2,000 miles. Since it was past the 30-day purchase period its no covered by Amazon's prime service warranty. Detroit axle will only off to replace the crappy parts with more of their inferior parts after I pay all the shipping expense for the old parts and the new parts- not a very realistic return policy. Terrible reliability and customer service. Ordered through Amazon for a 2 day delivery of rotors & pads because they are a local company & they split my order WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION and the other half my order will not be delivered for ANOTHER WEEK and I took the day off to work on my car but have NO ROTORS OR PADS. Upon calling them all they did was shuffle me through their phone system to people without any care to my situation.
