This is the worst electric company I've had the displeasure of using in my entire life. I've never had to contact my electric company and much as this one and I've lived in several states. The customer service team does not listen to concerns fully in regards to your account and they continuously miscommunicate and misinform their customers about their policies. IF YOU CAN USE ANOTHER COMPANY, YOU NEED TO. IT'S BAD ENOUGH WE CAN BARELY PAY OUR BILLS, BUY FOOD, ECT ECT. THEN YOU HAVE COMPANIES LIKE THIS ONE THAT JUST ADD TO THE STRESS AND FUSTRATION. I RENEWED MY CONTRACT IN JULY. I HAVE 2 EMAILS AND A 23 PAGE CONTRACT IN BLACK AND WHITE THAT SAYS NEW CONTRACT AND PRICE START 7/20/2023. GET MY NEW BILL AND IT STIL HAS OLD CONTRACT PRICING. Hooked me in with a low introductory rate, then after sending a letter at the end of the term that if I intended to stay with them, I need not do anything. Get my bill a month later that went from $139 to $327 with an additional $9.95 monthly fee. Rate went up to $.19900 which is much more than the PPL rate of $.12126. Completely disappointed that they would not even offer to waive the monthly fee or anything to keep me. Just told me they would put a cancelation notice in. I would not recommend this company at all. Frontier Utilities is NOT a good provider!!! Every month for 6-7 months I have to call to get extensions till my disability check arrives. I have tried to change due date, I can if I pay an extra $100. They knew prior to my electricity service began that I was disabled and had equipment. I even had doctor fill out critical care form for my medical. Yet, here we are once again. I cannot get an extension cause I already received one (told that every month) so my electric is getting cut off today because they can't extend me 5 ... read more

It would be nice to deal with someone in a 3rd world company that you can understand. Same goes with emailing info that they request in and it goes nowhere.

$20 FEE for disconnection Notice!!!!They charge you for issuing an electronic disconnection notice... This is insane. RUN!!! Do not use this company. If for any reason you get disconnected, they also charge you $10.37 for a reconnection Fee and an additional $10.37 for disconnection fee, plus a 5% late payment penalty fee. This is legal? robbery. RUN, choose literally any another company.

This company sucks, I was 5 days late on paying my bill due to, I had to go out of town on a family emergency, these ass holes sent me a termination notice 5 days after it was pass due.WTF. I would never refer anyone to these people

Beware, Frontier started out to be a Great electric company. When my original contract ran out , Frontier only offered me two HIGH rates to pick from. My electric bill went really high. Hard to get someone to talk to. They did not warn me when my contract was ready to expire, I just received a $500 electric bill. Now after doing me wrong, they want to charge me $200 for switching electric companies. We are elderly and on Social Security, they didn't care at all.
