This is indeed an awesome solution for a most grave problem. It´s really extremely effective, besides being light and portable. Quite ingenious, and yet, very simple. I won´t deny that it´s not that cheap, but it´s really worth every penny though. Nor I would say that it is very comfortable to use, at least in the beginning, and is still feels a little bit awkward to use, however, you´ll eventually get used to it and you won´t bother, as you see the quality of your sleep increasing. Wonderful feedback Claudio, thanks for the review. Any product that goes in your mouth for several hours will certainly have an adjustment period. It's good to know that your sleep quality has improved as a result. In terms of the protective case, without giving too much away, customers have spoken and we've listened :) We'll keep you posted.
WORKS AS DESCRIBED. I am amazed that such a simple mouthpiece works as it should. Without this mouthpiece I have terrible apnea waking up panting and gasping for breath. With the mouthpiece I do not have any apnea episodes. Takes a bit of practice and is somewhat awkward at first but after a week I could not see myself going to sleep without it. Very ingenious device, so simple but so effective.
What a difference this makes I previously used an appliance made at the dentist's office that held my lower jaw forward a bit. This appliance was expensive, $800+, caused occasional jaw hinge irritation, and after 4 years appears to be the cause of 2 teeth loosening. It did work for stopping snoring but I had to quit using it and my teeth tightened up again. In my search for another device, I came across this solution. Wow. Try it! It might just be the cure for you! I have been using this device for about 1 1/2 years now and it makes a HUGE difference. My Boyfriend used to always wake me up at night concerned that I wasn't getting enough air, snorting and snoring like crazy. I tried one of those mouth-guard type devices and my mouth is just way too small to find one to fit.
