There was a lack of communication between the service annex, dealership service location and customer that caused confusion.
We brought the car in on Tuesday morning per our appointment and Groove did not even look at the car until Friday morning. Why does Groove have appointments they know they can not support? Brett did communicate well with us but waiting four days was too excessive. Groove should have provided a free rental car to use while they were backlogged.
Good friendly, friendly service by Haley in less time than quoted for our 30,000 mile service. But miss those muffins that they use to service while waiting. Wayne Wathen (not Laura Wathen)
Truly horrible. The assistant manager was combative, refused to listen to my concerns. I will never be going back here. Matt and Trent were the worst service individuals I’ve ever dealt with, and ruined my day.
It really sucks to take your car in and them give you a list of things that are "wrong", but couldn't be further from the truth. Took my car to another mechanic and they were able to pinpoint the true issue and they were confused why this dealership wasn't able to find it. They told me it should have been obvious to Groove, but it wasn't anything Groove said needed to be fixed on my car.
Attempts to update service. Have a very trusted Subaru mechanic that I would rather use for major service.
I would rather have the choice of “MAYBE” for whether I would recommend Groove Service Center. I brought my 2018 Outback in for brakes and an oil change. I got a call telling me that there was unrepairable damage to one of my tires. I had no warning on my dashboard that one of the tires was even low! It just doesn’t sit well with me. There seemed to be a lot of confusion as well. Never recommending this place. My original service agent last year moved on and since then it has been less than acceptable care. Having pre-paid for six oil changes when I purchased the vehicle in Montrose February 2022 [due to the chip shortage], I took it in for the third one. I asked for a car wash as one had been done after the first oil change. The salesman was excellent (Dan C). Everything was going great until they put me in a room with a saleswoman (Mai) who initially claimed she was doing my purchase paperwork. After some confusing back and forth, her personality completely changed into a dragon-like entity. More forceful "hard sell" extended warrantee selling -- I have never witnessed.
