The salesman was excellent (Dan C). Everything was going great until they put me in a room with a saleswoman (Mai) who initially claimed she was doing my purchase paperwork. After some confusing back and forth, her personality completely changed into a dragon-like entity. More forceful "hard sell" extended warrantee selling -- I have never witnessed. This dealership has screwed me over. I requested a warranty at financing and they sold me a service contract instead. This car is 7 years...I needed a warranty. Less than a month of having the car, the engine light comes on. I find out I don't have a warranty by going to a Honda dealership and them wanting to charge me for service. Of course, financing as gone through so there's no adding the warranty now without paying $2600 out of pocket!

Service dept called me in 4 days before they could even look at my car
I was treated like I was putting everybody out by bringing my car in for a battery issue that has been going on for awhile. In November the battery was replaced after I discovered the issue on line. The battery died again in March after the car sat for 2 nights at DIA Ron told me that was why it died like I am some kind of idiot. Overall change of oil and tire rotation was OK. The car has an occasional rubber burning smell. The car is under warranty yet I was told that in order to diagnose the rubber burning smell if you can't find the cause you would charge me $180 diagnosis fee. Why on earth would you charge me to diagnose something that is under warranty and if you can't reproduce it then you charge me a fee. I had to make multiple trips and phone calls to get the service done. I have bought both my recent cars from Groove, and I always service them at Groove. But this time the experience was very poor. I need to look for another place for my future needs.

I was told, at last oil change, that I could get a loaner car, if bill was >$500. I needed a 30k service, so I scheduled, and verified I could get loaner. Woman at call center said yes. I also asked if I had any oil changes left on service plan. She couldn't tell me, and said that service rep would call. I verified that I could get loaner, as there is no place to kill time, at your location. She said that the rep would work that out with me. Never got a call. Needed to cancel. Called to reschedule. I am very unhappy with this service location. It’s not anyone person either. My dash display has not been working right ever since I bought the car. Every time I take it in to be looked at, I’m told that they can’t find out what’s wrong with the dash. They have taken pictures and no one wants to dig into it. Both my wife and I are not happy with Subaru. This is our first one and we are really considering moving on from it.
