I purchased a brand new vehicle, but it was too late to install the clear bra and accessories on October 19th. As I live about 3 hours away, I scheduled my appointment to finish it three weeks later on November 5th. After taking 4 Subaru s to Grove over the last 15 years or so my last service there was a total piece of F***ing xxxx. I did not post pone any issues I came to fix. A 2 hr wasted round trip time travel was S**** They never repaired a prior issue, never repaired a simple flat that Walmart did quickly and never gave the car a FREE wash they said they were going to. I’ve driven over 2 million miles and never had such bad so called SERVICE in my life.
Left me waiting for almost three hours. They knew I was waiting in the lobby but never texted, called or came to get me...
All my service experiences to date have been fine - until my current engagement. After multiple months of delay, I received word from Groove Subaru they were prepared to service a Subaru Recall concerning a transmission defect. My car has been sitting at Groove Subaru for multiple weeks. No doubt corporate Subaru owns the delay in delivering parts, and may be the root cause of poor communications. But the bottom-line customer experience has been very disappointing - with no end in sight.
Complete and utter incompetence. Tried to sell us service that was not needed. I will never return or recommend
I waited for over 2 hours beyond my appointment time to find out service hadn’t even started on the oil change. And hadn’t checked the washer tubing to give me a quote. Took the lLyft home. Later I was presented with a list of things already completed. My washer tubing quote was $360, I eventually got it repaired for $64. Before my Lyft arrived I saw them take my car back to the service bays 3 hours later to start my oil change.
Inaccurate tire measurements were reported. Inspection sheet states LF=2, RF=3, LR=5, RR=4. I measured tread as LF=5, RF=5, LR=7, RR=6. Brake pad measurements were correct but the pic of the rear brakes does not show the pads, just a pic of the caliper. Also we had a wheel alignment done but we were not given a printout of the alignment specs/readings. Given that they measured the tires incorrectly, how do we know they did the alignment correctly?
I was charged over $15 for a shop fee on service of less then $100 with coupon. This is over 15% and smacks of surcharging. I can understand a $5 shop charge, but a percentage based on cost of service seems as a way to not post of the true cost of service and then try to make up that cost.
They performed an unauthorized service and left the interior full of greasy hand prints! After the vehicle was originally brought in for two(2) recall repairs, I authorized an oil change and a new battery purchase to fix a power steering issue. My total bill out of pocket was over $1,061.00! And the interior was absolutely filthy!!! One of their porters tried to clean up the dirty interior, but told me it would be an extra charge to have the interior detailed. That's a bunch of BS!!!
