Went to get the guitar I just bought from Sam ash set up and the guy didn’t have a clue what he was doing. The bridge isn’t even close to being right, and it’s a Floyd rose style. I drove 4 hours round trip and spend 2 hours at Sam ash to have this done. Super pissed
Sorry customer service. We will never ever buy from this company again!!!!
I was shipped the wrong item.
Maybe I'm spoiled by my local shop. Or maybe I had my expectations too high, but I am fairly disappointed with the overall experience. I didn't realize there was no case, again probably my fault. And the guitar arrived in one piece, surprisingly even though it was delivered by FedEx. It will need a setup as there's fret buzz and it looked like there were old strings on the guitar as I noticed some rust/buildup on the strings. Overall, I can't say I'm satisfied. I did not receive any communication beyond the invoice. No tracking information, no notification that the item had arrived for pickup at the store. I had to track it down through the website on my own, and even that didn't give a definitive answer of where the item was. Apparently it has been sitting at the store for nearly a week without my knowledge.
One issue after another. Terrible communication from the San Antonio store. Had to contact the CEO through LinkedIn, which helped get my item finally shipped but after I noticed major issues on the instrument that were not disclosed on the item description, and requesting that Sam Ash make things right, I stopped hearing back.
Sam Ash sent me a guitar that was 1) not the guitar depicted(serial number 2) wrong color 3) dented,4)rusty strings,5)warped neck,6)no gig bag . There will be no next time and I will tell everyone I know about the bait and switch deception. The one redeeming thing was the second customer service rep, was excellant and they refunded all my money. Other than that Mrs.Lincoln how was the play?
