I ordered a brand new lefthanded Squier 70s guitar but I received a used show room floor one with no notice that's what was available and still charged for a new one, at least it plays well but lm missing the tools and whammy bar and strap, I called customer service and they said that they were going to look into it.
Ordered a blue guitar, received a red one. Had to send it back and am now waiting the weeks it takes for you to receive it, process it, and get the correct one sent.
I recently purchased an Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy. Elias at the Hollywood location helped me. He let me know they didn't have this model in store, but could have it shipped from a store on the east coast. It arrived within 3 days. Unfortunately, the other Sam Ash location sent the wrong guitar, and sent the SG model instead of the Les Paul Custom model. He sent it back and ordered the right guitar from a location in New York. The website is slow has poor filtering, and is not user-friendly
By sending me the right color drum kit that I ordered AND actually answer questions from your customers. I wrote several times and never got a response.
I was told you had a certain high-end Taylor guitar in stock, so I bought it from your online specialist. They did not have that guitar in stock. They then went and located one. I was told this would ship over a week ago and they would call me when it arrived (I thought by last Fri or Sat). No one called or tracked the process. The employee at the orlando colonial road location was visibly upset when fulfilling an online order; I was accosted for not placing the order through the phone, which would have provided the individual with commission on the purchase. As I stated to him, I placed the order online by virtue of convenience, rather than spending several minutes longer on a phone call with a sales agent using every predatory marketing tactic they can to upsell a product I do not want nor need. Delivered wrong item. No way to fix other than cancelling and returning and creating a brand new order. When the new order came through the item was defective - in a way that Sam Ash should have known better. I returned that too, but did not create yet a third order because all this was requiring way too much work on my part. Sam Ash should have taken care of this but they did not.
Sales rep never followed up on a backordered item of high $ value.
