Purchased Yamaha FSX800C. SamAsh shipped Yamaha FG800. Had to return and wait for refund.
Bought a keyboard from them and it didn't hook up to my computer properly and I didn't like the feel of it. They told me they wouldn't refund shipping, to which I had to pay a third of price of the keyboard just to ship it. And then they would deduct THEIR original shipping once they received it. I returned the keyboard and lost 50% of what I paid. Never again. Use Sweetwater instead!
Purchased a cymbal I ended up not liking the sound of. Got a full refund no questions asked.
I wrote various communications to customer service for two different issues related to the same order. Only one service rep, Mr. Zach Abati, really help me with one of the issued that was brought to him. In the other issue, that should have been handled by other service rep(s), I have not even received an answer.
Paid $255.00 for two 25ft cables that didn’t come in manufactures packaging. Looked like a used or customer return.
Confirm pickup confirmation faster, and not hourly
Unfortunately, only one person was able to help me. The staff in general was very unhelpful, especially the customer service "supervisor". I was continuously transferred to dead ends, and even hung up on several times. There was one person that was extremely helpful. His name is Christopher Donnelley. I will be making purchases at sam ash in the future solely because of him. His customer service skills far surpassed everyone else. You need to promote him and fire the current supervisor.
You send emails to ask for a review before I have received everything I ordered. That's super annoying.
I was trying to buy a piano it was out of stock, when I call the store and they call me back to let me know that they do have it in other store and I get it before a week.
