I have tried to contact you all by phone and by email but no one ever gets back with me about the sales tax that was added to my government order. I send a copy of the tax exempt certificate but I have still not heard from anyone on when I can expect this credit back to my credit card. Very poor customer service.
Beyond frustrated with my purchase with Sam Ash. I called to see if a product was in stock and they said, "as a matter of fact yes we do have one in stock and it's the last one available". I ordered the Gretsch with black P90 cover - I get shipped cream P90. Strings are rusted and corroded, the entire guitar is covered in dust, the guitar itself was so freaking sweat grime in some areas. They tell me I get a free guitar setup...I call and I'm told "you know how to put strings on don't you" I will NEVER be back to Sam Ash - they need my money more than I need their crappy service, Now I'm an ex Sam Ash employee and an ex Sam Ash shopper. Received the wrong item. Took more than one call to support to be able to ship the item back. Took calling support again to get my item processed after being received. Asked for an exchange to get the correct item, was given a refund instead. How to do better? I just gave an entire list of "do things right the first time."
I ordered a marked-down bass amp from ebay. I was sent the wrong one. I called and talked to three people about and asked that the right one get pulled off of ebay and sent to me. You sold it to someone else anyway. I got a $25 dollar gift card from you for my $133 "loss" due to your mistake and ignoring my repeated requests. I purchased the guitar through Ebay. I promptly received a shipping email. The following week no guitar arrived. It was not until I contacted Sam Ash that I learned that the guitar wasn't available. A Sam Ash representative agreed to speak with a supervisor and return my call. No call occurred. To my knowledge, if I win an auction on Ebay, I am required to pay.
