I ordered two Focal 50 speakers from your Hollywood, CA store and only one arrived 3 days late. The salesman’s could not get the other delivered until a week later and store would not give me a loaner until the other arrived. Thus was a terrible experience and I will never purchase anything from Sam Ash Music that requires delivery.
Instead of my correct order being sent, inside the box that was addressed to me was an incorrect item and the other person’s invoice number. I contacted customer service and after being on hold and on the phone for an hour, the customer rep repeatedly told me my correct order was delivered a few days ago. I finally got through to him when I emailed him an image of the incorrect order and the person’s invoice. Stop figuring out multiple ways to make money on sold products and give the customer what they need to properly utilize your sold product!
I purchased an e-gift certificate for a relative. After the checkout process I was not sure if it had actually been sent or if a physical gift card was being sent to my home address. Fortunately the gift card was sent to the correct e-mail address. And THEN the constant stream of SPAM started. 2 or 3 e-mails every day. They continued for 2 days after I hit the unsubscribe. Word to the wise, don't give Sam Ash your email.
I ordered a product early Sunday. After not getting a shipping notification, I noticed they were now out of stock. I I called in late Monday and asked if there was an issue, I was assured that the item was being prepared for shipment. Still not having shipped I emailed in on Wed, and was informed they did not have any in stock. Due to the holidays starting on Thurs, I wasn't able to get another company to ship until after Christmas. Long story short.. Dont waste your time with Sam Ash unless you have to
You’re “Buy online p/u in store” needs some serious help. I ordered 3 sets of guitar strings that were supposedly in stock @ my local store. Went there and there were none! Couldn’t wait for them to be shipped as I was traveling next day. No bueno. My salesperson helped me out with some suitable replacements & got me out of there eventually but Sam Ash really needs to up ur game to be competitive.
The store looks like it either is going out of business or is still moving in. Phone calls not returned, staff not knowledgeable about product, staff trying to sell used floor items at new prices or sell me product that is more expensive than what I want. I will not be back.
