Personally, I love the way voicemails can be handled simultaneously if I'm on the phone with someone else - I don't have to end my conversation to check voicemail because I can play it through my computer, and delete it from the 8x8 website without ever switching lines. I also love the instant messaging feature which allows colleagues to obtain quick bits of information without having to wait for an email response. Having every call recorded. This one time, a co-worker ordered our lunch. When the order came, it wasn't right. Everyone placed bets on whether the co-worker messed up the ordering, or the restaurant messed it up. We were able to replay the call and verify that in fact, it was a mistake made by the restaurant. With our previous phone system, everyone would have wondered if we can ever trust Jim to order the lunch again. Thanks to 8x8, we now know that we can!
The fact that we can use this system virtually and we don't have to purchase expensive phones - as well as utilize the phones we currently have. If I have to telecommute, I have my trusty phone app - I am never out of pocket for my new associates and can answer questions on the fly.
8x8 provides me with the tools to succeed. With features like direct fax, office messenger, and a call system, it is your all in one tool for simplicity and efficiency!
The system is very easy to use and the calls are very clear. We do a lot of conference calls with the team since everyone is usually running around and setting the conference calls up is very easy and the calls are always clear. Our previous phones made it very difficult to hear everyone.
We love the expandability of the system. The fact that we can open a new office and be up and running immediately. I also love the fact that I can take my desk phone with me to my vacation home, plug it in to my wifi modem and be fully connected to my office.
