Use Cases and Deployment Scope
- We use Birdeye to manage our online reputation and customer experience across multiple organizations. Birdeye improves our online image by increasing review quantity, quality, and the overall rating level. Birdeye also improves the customer experience by giving us the visibility and tools we need to swiftly address any customer concerns or issues.
Pros
- It is simple to use. The features are straight forward and do what they promise; improve and maintain your review rating and volume, while also managing the customer experience.
-Reporting is a strength. Birdeye makes pulling relevant data and visuals for my executive team a snap. They can easily see what they are paying for.
-Client support is top notch. One day or one year later, their support team is always communicating to ensure you have the best experience. It saves me time and improves performance.
-Birdeye is always innovating. I am amazed at the amount of useful products and features that Birdeye continues to add. There are a few features that are not very useful, but we benefit from the majority of the features.
-Scalable. There are currently no caps on the amount of users that can be added at no additional cost to the organization and you can add a single location to thousands.
Cons
- The sentiment feature is just okay. It requires custom adjustments and time to understand where it is working well and where it is not in order to get the most out of it, while other features require very little user input.
-Social listening needs work. I often receive notifications for unrelated terms because of their similarity in spelling to my organization's name, so I don't use this feature.
-Birdeye could have more built-in features to create digital content from the reviews.
-Birdeye could also have additional reputation tools to strengthen GMB listings and to combat negative press. Review listings and rich snippets in search are great, but having a tool that measures and helps to improve overall brand health/search results would be amazing. My CEO isn’t looking at what is going right. He looks at what is going wrong. We may have thousands of positive reviews on Google, but the bad article with false information is still showing up on page one of search results. That makes for an unhappy CEO.
Likelihood to Recommend
- If you want to increase online review volume and ratings while saving loads of time, Birdeye will do that for you. Small or large business, Birdeye can support you. Birdeye does not include support for all 3rd party review platforms based on the policies of those platforms; however, Birdeye is willing to work with its clients and aggregate 3rd party data into their platform so that you can stay on top of your reputation and client needs without the need to spend time always heading to those 3rd party websites.
Return on Investment
- Review volume improved from 10-11 reviews per month to over 100 reviews per month. In 18 months, we doubled our review count with Birdeye when compared to the previous 10 years of online reviews.
-Review ratings on Google improved from 1.9 stars in the first five months of 2019 to 4.8 stars by the end of 2019 and continue to be stable through 2020 despite a global pandemic.

Birdeye takes the work out of asking for reviews
Pros: We use Birdeye for a multi-doctor practice. The reviews are sent to our patients after they leave our office. I check the dashboard regularly and respond to received reviews. The dashboard is easy to use.
One feature that I appreciate is that each review states which location the patient was seen at and which doctor saw the patient.
I can also "add a tag" with the name of the doctor that referred our patient to our practice.
If I am looking for a review to use for a radio ad or in a marketing piece, I can search the reviews by doctor, location, procedure done, or key words.
On a side note, we have a contest each month in our office of which doctor and team received the most reviews for the month! This encourages our team members to provide the highest quality of service to our patients and they also remind the patient that they are getting a review request and to please fill it out.
Cons: Years ago, when we first joined there were glitches in the software and the review requests would not send out. I could always tell because I would stop receiving reviews.
Overall: Birdeye has a strong customer relations team. They genuinely seek to provide optimal service. They are caring and will resolve any concerns.

Great for review management
Pros: Notification of reviews, auto generated responses, customizable responses.
Cons: It's hard to remove spam reviews, notifications stopped working but they were able to fix it same day.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope
- I use Birdeye on a daily basis to respond to all business reviews across multiple platforms including facebook, google, yelp, birdeye, and apartments.com. All the reviews congregate to one platform where I can analyze data across time, and respond instantly.

- Birdeye is great if you are representing multiple companies across various platforms. This allows you to respond to reviews in one page opposed to hunt down every single review site for each property every morning!

Birdeye
Pros: I really like that I get notified when someone leaves a google review and that it will let us auto-respond.
Cons: So far, I have not found anything that I did not like about the program, but, I have not been using it for long!
