I made the mistake of giving Smile Direct Club my phone number when I was looking into them online. I hadn’t realized I had done it. They began calling the next day (3 times), and I answered and told them I wasn’t interested in talking about it. I was only window shopping to learn more. They began calling me repeatedly during work. They just called me 5 times in a row, each time I hung up. I answered on the last call, and told them to not call me back under any circumstances. I would not use smile direct for anything. They recently tried to charge me $250 for a touch up kit because they said I didn't comply with the requirements of the guarantee. My images were always wrong or didn't take. I actually drove 90 minutes to a location for a touchup kit, waited for the aligners, but eventually had to call because they never showed up. Started with my Smile direct club journey in 2021 I was told I was going to be on a six month plan I went to them because lost my retainer from previously having braces and now developed teeth shifting. Aginist my better judgement I decided to move forward with the process I developed more spaces and more gapping in my front teeth then ever before. I ordered the teeth whitening kit, and after a few uses the light stopped working. I called to get a replacement and they refused to send one. I attempted at being a "Karen" and asked for a manager, then I was told there is no one else to speak to and I'm out of luck (so that customer service rep was the CEO???). So their equipment doesn't hold up for even a single WEEK, they refuse to replace it, and customer service lies to you.

Worst customer service ever! After a bunch of emails being sent regarding damage claims and nobody contacts me back. This issue has been going for months already. Don't ever get the aligners from them because they will ruin your teeth and damage your dental health.

I had my teeth scanned when Smile Direct came to Omaha. I was told by their rep that they could help me but it might take "a little longer than 4 months" I have been in treatment for 2.5 years. During this treatment, the aligners have cut my mouth, and broken teeth. I've been directed to wear aligners that do not fit. Replacement aligners have been slowin arriving. Horrible customer service. Aligners are not straightening my teeth. Mistakes made by scanning tech, I return to be rescanned. Im on my 4th or 5th set of aligners touch up. A mere compensation of $100 was offered . My time is worth way more than $100. This company is horrible! Meanwhile they are steadily deducting my credit card. 3 weeks ago I went for a rescan. I received an email when I should have been receiving my aligners. They said my on file credit card is expired. But they just took out a payment July 11th. I am beyon... read more

Thick and strong. They did very well for her top teeth but her bottom teeth were having a hard time getting aligned. We had some troubles getting in contact with them, probably due to Covid, which was no fault of anybody’s and finally were able to redo the treatment. Second set of aligners were terrible quality and broke easily. I brought this to their attention multiple times, but to no avail. Redid aligners for a THIRD time. I have been actively trying to cancel my treatment and get a refund. Management has gone completely silent and will not acknowledge my emails or calls. I should have listened to previous reviews and avoided them at all costs. They are clearly a scam company with the only goal of separating you from your money. There was also no record of my “dentist” available anywhere.
