I should have known better than to click on any ad link on *********but I’ve been looking to get aligners for awhile. I did ******the business before plugging in my data and a quick look said it’s a real business with good reviews. These days you can’t really trust reviews can you? Anyway, it was a red flag that they wanted my cc info to book the free appointment so I closed the page and dug a bit deeper. We had a terrible experience with Smile Direct Club. We attempted to use their services for my "daughter". From the beginning, there were issues. They kept putting the information in my name and not her name as it was supposed to be. So they had her details and dental information but kept calling her me. They charged my initial deposit, that they said would not be shared until we approved the details, early (that first day), without my authorization, and their communication was seriously lacking. Beware of Smile Direct. They claim your treatment is reviewed by an orthodontist but I never heard from one, not even when I complained that my teeth were loose. When I went to my dentist, they told me that my teeth were being moved out of the bone which was causing them to be loose. And there is a possibility I may lose these teeth. I have spent the last year working with my dentist, an orthodontist and periodontist to repair the damage done by Smile Direct.

Please do not use this place. We made the huge mistake of using them, and we definitely got the worst job and wasted over $3000. Now my daughter is messed up worse and has to go to a legit orthodontist to get it all over again. Their products are super cheap quality, and they just filed bankruptcy. I’ll be joining the upcoming class action suit against them,

I thought Smile Direct would correct my smile and that’s not what I left with. First, my program was put together and the digit view looked good. I strictly followed the plan but at the end I still had teeth that were not perfect. They provide an extension of plan and my more trays. There was no relationship with a dentist through the program other than messaging. I wore the aligner at night after my plan completed. I had three touch ups for my teeth on both sides of my upper front teeth, they are still not straight and I was turned down for the 4th touch up. Was told it fits Smile Direct protocol, not sure what that means although I have requested an answer. Also if you have dental insurance that covers part of the cost for braces, most dental insurance companies do not cover internet aligners. Terrible service. Don’t EVER give this business your money. They would deceive you to get your money and the liners do not work effectively! They overcharge you and when you reach out to customer service, they DO NOT respond to email. Please go to your local dentist for proper assistance

Do not waste your time!! I returned my sons aligners as they didn't fit and we couldn't get the app to load and they have had the returned product for almost a month and I have yet to recievey refund. I am currently looking for an attorney. This company should not exist. Total scam. Customer service does not help.
