If I could leave negative stars I would. I ended up returning my aligners after reading horrific reviews of customers having major medical issues. We decided to go with a local orthodontist instead that could oversee care. I have been in dispute with Smile Direct Club for over two months trying to get a refund and to get them to stop charging my account for an item that was returned. Hello! I bought and finished a 5 month treatment plan with Smile Direct club and have since been experiencing severe migraines, jaw pain, and my bite is completely ruined. My back teeth have shifted so badly that I can't close my mouth without my front teeth colliding. Additionally, my teeth aren't where they were advertised to be after treatment. This place is a disaster. I was a fairly early customer and my teeth look...fine. But the customer service is atrocious. I have spent HOURS trying to get my address updated - you can't do it on the website. They say you can use your HSA but the debit card NEVER works even though they say it will. It the MOST unorganized experience I have ever had. It's really not worth it.

I have had nothing but issues with this company. When I got my first set of aligners, which were created by the at home mold, they fit so poorly that my mouth hurt constantly. I finally was able to get them to give me a touch-up. This time I did the 3D scan. The aligners fit much better, however a few aligners in and they were staring to bend and warp. I decided to use smile direct club to fix my teeth, what a mistake that was, I have been going through the treatment plan now for 2.5 years and my teeth are still not straight. I can’t even count the amount of times I have had a touch up request and new aligners, I don’t have enough fingers for that. I would just like someone to tell me they can not fix my teeth. They did not fix my smile they made it worse I’m very unsatisfied. I want a refund. I will read reviews next time but my measurements were not accurate I tried to call to notify them I took pictures also no one reached out to me. Don’t do it!!!

I started smile direct club in March of 2023 for a minor fix on mainly the top row of my mouth. While using the aligners as instructed via the packaging, I notice where my teeth would become worse by April. I had a 6 month prescription with them. However, I decided to stop using Smile Direct Club due to discoloration of my teeth.
