My daughter started what was supposed to be a 6 month journey in November of 2022, fast forward to January and the aligners no longer fit/kept breaking. I emailed and called several times to get the problem fixed and every time I would get the same “our doctors will review and reach out to you”. I never heard anything from anyone. I had a terrible experience with Smile Direct Club. Their false promises and poor customer service have left me deeply dissatisfied. When I lost my retainers, they made me wait six months for a replacement. Despite my requests for an exact copy, they insisted on a new aligner fitting. I questioned this, but they claimed it was strongly recommended. They refused to provide the retainers I already had. Today I had my consultation appointment with my Smile Guide (Monica). She was awesome! I've recently been trying to build up my confidence, unfortunately my teeth are and have been my biggest struggle while trying to do so.. Having to have up close pictures taken of my teeth was definitely way outside my comfort zone but I was reluctant to have Monica as my Guide! I had an allergic reaction and asked for a refund!! But they say I didn’t do as they requested but I destroyed the product like they asked and now they won’t refund me!! So they steal money from people. And don’t give two *****!!

1.5 years of teeth aches and gagging from smiledirect alligners and no change in my smile. But if i knew this 30 days in, i could have received a refund ? Terrible experience. Do not try these. Over $3k down the drain. Stay away. Ghosted me several times throughout treatment.

Dont Do It! Unless your teeth are really bad go for it. Minor adjustments is just a ripoff

Bad customer service. Every retainer I ordered for the last 3 years did not fit. Even after several smile scan appointments and years of being patient with them, they still refuse to get it right. It's like they are literally just making up the placement/shape of your teeth and expect your teeth to just go with whatever retainer they build. I took off of work and went to receive a smile scan. This company feels like a complete scam. They told me that I had about 12 payments left to my treatment after a few months of automatic payments. Even after treatment they charge me and say that I actually had 26. I’ve contacted them to cancel my account multiple times and their email customer service never gives me answers on anything. The retainers chipped my teeth and caused a hole in one of my teeth near my wisdoms. This company took more that what my treatment cost out of my bank well after treatment. I began my journey on 3/21/21 because I had a right upper tooth that hung over and was a budget and thought this would be a good way to fix this tooth on a payment plan.
