After reviewing the BBB reviews of this company I told them I wanted to cancel when they reached out about my prescription being ready. A man called and I told him then exactly why I was not interested. I then emailed and let them know I am not interested in going forward with this company when I received an email from customer care to confirm my order. I told them to cancel my account in response. This has been a horrible experience and waste of money. I've had to have aligners redone several times because they don't fit correctly. I was supposed to have a 3.5 month treatment. It's now been 9 months and my bottom teeth are still crooked. Additionally, my gums have been cut multiple times by aligners. My dentist is pretty angry about the damage (cracking) to my teeth that she's seeing since I started treatment. I gave up and asked for my pre-paid retainers. The first set didn't fit on the bottom. SCAM! Only the first one fit out of 6 but they charged me for 12. Will be suing them shortly! Racist and sexist ****customer service reps! Only the female customer service reps assist! You cannot change account managers and you’re forced to deal with the virtual account manager they give you! Just long emails with no responses! Foreign con artist! They’re getting sued by thousands of customers and if I don’t receive my refund today I’ll be suing as well.

What kind of company is this?!?!?!?! I have been going back and forth with DirectSmile since 03/11/2023. I went to their office and did the 3D scan and from there, I have been given the run-around. I have now been waiting for 3 months and still no aligners!!! Every time I speak to a representative they promise to fix the problem and nothing gets done. Dealing with this company is a nightmare!!! When you request to speak to a supervisor, they tell you that they have to schedule a supervisor call back (huh???) As I write this ... read more

Both of my children are using aligners from smile direct club. I have called, chatted online, and emailed about getting insurance forms to show their treatment so I can send to my insurance . I've talked to them at least 4 times on the phone alone I've submitted my insurance to them multiple time which they continue to say they can not verify. They tell me to call my insurance, and I keep telling them I have and I just need paper work to give to my insurance, but every time I call I get no where. They say they need to submit... read more

I started with SmileDirectClub (SDC) in 2019. I went for an in-person scan, was told they could fix my teeth, & used the aligners as instructed. It's been 4yrs of readjustments & my teeth are now less straight than they were before I started. If you're like me with a tooth slightly behind another, aligners need to make space to move the teeth into to make them straight. Horrible. I did a 3d scan. They asked me to submit an authorization form. I submitted it from the email they sent me. Few weeks went by, and I heard nothing. I called and emailed to check They stated they never received it. I mailed it multiple times to different emails I was told by customer service. Few months roll by, nothing. Not a peep. No update.
