Horrible customer service. I canceled a subscription to toothbrush head refills (or attempted to, 3 months ago) and customer service was very dismissive and unhelpful, but waved me off and said I never had a subscription to begin with. 3 months later, I got charged and got sent a confirmation email that my 'order' was being shipped to an old address. I feel so scammed by the company they ruin my credit for years they kept pushing me to do scans they would not let me return the product. They would not let me get my refund they would not let me to cancel my account they kept telling me I had to talk with somebody they ruined me. They keep on pushing me and to keep in my account just to run my credit. I hate this company. I wish they could lose their license. I really do wish this company unfortunate an answer, unsucces unluckiness.

I went in person to get the 3D scan and while the experience was generally a good one, I later found out I was supposed to see a dentist before starting to make sure I was in good health, but this was never told to me. The first issue started before I even put the aligners in. My kit was mailed to the wrong address. I contacted support, and they said they would mail them to the correct address. I had a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience with this company. They are totally unprofessional (in my personal opinion ) and do not follow proper consumer practices. Consumers are promised a $50 ****gift card to come in and obtain a scan. I was interested in viewing my bite and my teeth alignment so I went in for that reason. Upon leaving, I asked for the promised $50 gift card. I was told it would be sent by email within days. I never received it. I was then told it would be sent after their dentist reviewed my scan. I wish I could leave ZERO stars. The customer service and NON MANAGEMENT is deplorable. They don’t answer emails EVER, they charge for move mints when they only give you 1 tiny bag that’s anticipated to last you the entire length of treatment. Pro tip- you can find plenty of other options on ******. They lied to me at the start of treatment and told me the END RETAINER was INCLUDED after treatment was completed. I asked multiple times to speak to my doctor which you cannot do . SDC lies and says you can speak to YOUR doctor.... read more

Waste of time and money. You'll wait over half an hour on the phone only to speak to someone who cannot answer your question. The same goes for their online chat feature. I've worn the aligners for over 2 months and my teeth have not shifted at all. The return process is unnecessarily difficult. I'll update this review when/if any money is returned.

If I had to do it all over again for my son, I would not. Very poor customer service. We managed to get thru the treatment, but I question the person overseeing his treatment. When he received his retainers and they did not fit, it all went down hill fast. They sent another retainer to see if it was a fluke with the first (meanwhile he is wearing his last aligner and it breaks). I think this company should not be in business and if it continues to treat their customers in such a deceitful manner they will no long be in business. I ordered aligners from Smile Direct Club and received them on May 15th 2023. The aligners did not fit properly and were actually worse than what my teeth and were poor quality. If I could give a negative star I would. This is a scam. I requested to speak with a dentist multiple times and never received a call or response about my concerns. When I requested to cancel my account they then wanted to talk even then it took almost a month for a response. The return process is designed to waste more of your time. I almost never do reviews (maybe 2 in my life time) but I needed others to know DO NOT believe the hype.
