0 stars. They disqualified me and didn’t even let me know about it. Horrible service!!! I highly do not recommend!

The lies, theft and frustration that came with using this company are unbelievable. First, they said 5 months of treatment. I knew that probably wouldn't be the case with my teeth so I wasn't surprised when I did numerous touch ups which took about a year. At the end of treatment I received a text that my retainers would be on their way soon. I was impressed at how easy and quick it was to get started, the staff doing the 3d scans were super friendly. Received word that my scans had been viewed by the dentist & approved. After days of checking the website and my email for the 3d video result they promised, I never saw it before my card was charged and I dumbly thought, well, okay it was reviewed and surly the dentist understood what gap I was wanting corrected. Painful. Leaving sores all over my tongue and mouth after one day. Did all the wax and filing. Allergy? Asked them for a refund. They will not be contacting me for a very long time… trying to get out of their 30 day guarantee? Very disappointed with the product. They should contact right away when you spend near 2,000 on a product. I will be happy to update my review when they contact me.

I started 12/2022 and came in for a re-evaluation 4/3/23 because I lost my aligner 6 and the 7 was not fitting properly for me to move forward. I was told to go back toy aligners 4 until I got my new pair which I am still currently waiting on. I called in 2 weeks ago and a new order for my aligners was supposedly put in and expedited for me to get in 10 days along with a refund of 75$ for the inconvenience of having to make a payment for aligners I can't wear. Smile Direct Club? More like Frown Direct Club. I began my prescription 10 months ago for a minor correction. One of my bottom front had shifted and the prescribed plan showed it would be shifted back into alignment. Twice, staff conducting the teeth scans at their store complimented on how perfectly aligned my other teeth are. Horrible - everyone needs to stay away from SDC. I wanted to fix a VERY small gap in my front two teeth. I went through FOUR aligner touch ups, have been wearing them for over a year now (original treatment estimate was 4 months) and now they say no further progress can be made and said my treatment is finished. Mind you, I STILL have the original gap in my from two teeth that I originally sought to fix. Now, their excuse for failure of treatment is my "tooth shape" and "bone structure" - they have no desire to fix the issue... read more

I started smile direct 3.5 years ago for one MINOR overlap in my front tooth with my incisor. I had braces years ago and my teeth were completely straight otherwise. I have had countless (cant even keep track at this point) touch ups and two dentists. Each time, my teeth get worse and worse and now I am in the middle of another treatment plan that I objected to and the dentist said "don't worry the scan doesn't look like that on my end, everything is completely straight." It has been almost 4 weeks since leaving a message with a SDC Customer Service associate who informed me a manager would be reaching out-no 1 has. The phone number listed on BBB to reach a manager (which has been taken down)is not working. Since starting treatment all aligners that were issued to me had fit issues, I had 2 touch ups-and now need a third.
