Let me start by saying they are a complete scam!!!!!! If I could give them ZERO STARS I would, but there’s no option for that!!!!! So my “smile direct club adventure” started out with multiple molds that didn’t work so took months to approve, during that time they took my deposit and monthly’s before I even approved my 3D smile they showed me!!! Horrible! Aligners didn’t fit. Requested refund. They offered a replacement with no charge. It took 4 months to receive them. They said I wasn’t even in the system. They’ve charged me over 2,000 and it was on a card I never use. The billing department is completely separate and you can only email this man who could care less. I never received the second set of alignments and he just keeps saying they refunded me 250 dollars. But they get to keep charging me. Sickening. One of my aligners even split in half. No stars. Destiny at the Farmington Michigan location was my consultant. She was so kind and welcoming to me . Destiny took her time r planning the process and going over pricing and everything. She took my images and answered all of my questions in such a kind manner . I look forward to seeing my results. Very happy with my decision.

Don’t even waste your time. My 4 month plan took from January 2020 through February 2021. After 4 sets of retainers, I received a retainer that didn’t fit in March 2022. I was told that they’d need to rescan my teeth which didn’t make sense - the retainers should fit since my teeth shouldn’t be moving. After 15 months, I opted to go to an orthodontist and I’m halfway through traditional braces. Smile Direct Club is incompetent, difficult to communicate with and doesn’t stand by their work. A few weeks ago I received a call from a SD agent stating they have difficulty pulling a payment for retainers. I then stated to the agent that I was glad there was difficulty because I indeed did not authorize the payment. When I signed up, this information was never disclosed. DESPITE my declining of the retainers (I have been sick, other bills needed my attention, would order at a later time) they processed the payment anyway . I never even started services with them as I was unsatisfied with the 3d model uploaded and cancelled before anything happened or was shipped to me. They still charged me $250 and it's been over 3 months and I still haven't received a refund although I've called 3+ times and told every time to wait 3-5 days for the refund. I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company.

After my third set of aligners and over a year of pain and discomfort, zero results. My teeth are exactly the same as when I started. Now I'm getting the run-a-around about a return. Don't' waste your time or money.

Im sorry to say, I have not many bad things to say about SDC. I started my treatment and after 6 months, no my teeth were not perfect, but they had seen major improvement. Is there discomfort, sure, but I recommend that you go to get your teeth scanned at one of their pop up shops and not do a home kit. I’ve been scanned twice and everything went well after that. I even lazily quit wearing my final aligners for about FOUR months, and when I finally put them back in, apart from some general initial discomfort, I was on my way... read more
