Crooks! They offered a special discount to order on Cyber Monday along with a gift card, free retainers, and 6 months of teeth whitening. I’ve yet to receive any of the free stuff. I have called numerous times, been hung up on, transferred over and over, told I can’t be helped and there’s no supervisor to call me back. Let me just say that my experience with Smile Direct Club in Memphis TN was A-amazing!!!! The staff was very professional and friendly. My Smile Guide Ms.C******** was soooo professional, nice, attentive and informative. She answered all of my questions and provided me with service that felt more like family support.
Terrible customer service support. I have been trying to order my permanent retainers for months and haven’t heard back from there team. I’m worried that my teeth might go crooked and I have already spent thousands on there plan.

I used Smile Direct Club. The first set of aligners did not fit my bottom teeth. They sent a second set. Those didn’t fit my bottom teeth either. When I contacted a representative I was told to wear the aligners for the 18 months anyhow and then report that I was unhappy and have my bottom teeth treated for an additional year!! I got my aligners on December 2021. I had a 6 and half month plan. I finished at the end of May. I visited a SDC clinic rather than having a kit shipped to me for fitting. I am currently on my 2nd retainers as of 3/27/23. I felt sketchy with all these reviews in the past, however; I personally want to say that you should only be using SMC if you are here to fix small things. a gap/crooked teeth or two. if you looking to fix more like over/under bites or really moving teeth, you should probably go to conventional way of brace... read more
Only if I can give them a Zero star as well. Smile Direct is straight up trash. No organization with in the company, waited for more than months for a simple retainer, the retainer didn't fit. Ask for a new one took several months and it never came after "4 weeks" to a point where my teeth was starting to separate. They say they'll "create me some new aligner," drove 45 min locally to go to one of their location to retake the smile kit crap in person. While SDC has a Lifetime Smile Guarantee, the requirements are so strict that I'd be surprised if anyone actually met the qualifications. For example... Did I wear my aligners as directed? Yes. Actually, I wore a few sets longer than prescribed as I felt the next set didn't seem to fit properly. Did I check-in as frequently as directed? No. I missed a couple of check-ins but I did check-in. I was very excited to try out Smile Direct Club. When I ordered the nighttime aligners, they were very quick to respond to messages, calls, etc. After receiving the aligners, the bottom ones did not fit into my mouth. Once I reached out, it took forever to get a response. I was put on hold at one point for over an hour while doing a live chat. When I finally got a hold of someone, they told me they would be sending me all new aligners because there was probably an issue with the printing of the first batch. Only 4 replacemen... read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. Smile direct aligners do not fit right they cause a great deal of pain to my daughters gums. They sent her a file to file down her aligners to ease the pain not only ridiculous but didn’t help at all. Additionally the aligners created a gap that was not there before. I have had to jump through hoops to get them to acknowledge. They say they will refund if you’re not happy but what they don’t tell you is they make it impossible to get the refund.
