BEWARE HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND COMPANY. I purchased the four month plan and my dental insurance did cover some of the cost. After two months. I contacted them and told them at that time. I was not satisfied with my progress it was a very minimal change. They did a virtual consult and took pictures and kept assuring me I was making progress. At the end of my treatment plan again I contacted them told them I was absolutely not satisfied, and they said they would send me another set of aligners for two months. I was told my treatment would cost around $1000. Then, I was notified my alignment was too complicated for Smile Direct Club to fix. 3 months later, Smile Direct Club charged my credit card $2050 without any prior authorization or notice. It’s a complete scam. Ended up going to an **********provider who told me my case was minor and they didn’t try to scam me out of thousands of dollars…

Terrible customer service. I purchased some whitening refill pens and they were defective. I tried to contact customer service via several means - phone, chat, text. Their response rate is terrible and when I did get a hold of someone, they were powerless to help. I have tried to get some type of response (either a replacement or a refund) from them for 60 days now to no avail. They have not said no - they have just not responded after multiple attempts. The company refuses to provide sales agreements or any details about treatment plans in writing. I was harassed daily for my credit card number by representatives (text, email, phone calls), and told yesterday that they never provide anything other than the 3D model, and that it was unreasonable for me to ask for something that had never been provided to their other 2M+ customers; they just wanted to hand over my credit card and I would l be told after I paid what was going to happen. Jederiah took care of me at my first appointment yesterday and she was WONDERFUL. This company is lucky to have her. I was having a crazy morning and not only was she thorough and professional in my service, she turned my day around with her kindness. She was so personable and sweet.

Don't trust them if they tell you they can do something because they lie about what they can achieve. I came to them VERY clear that I wanted to correct my bite as my front teeth touch and are wearing down over time. I was told that this would be "EASILY" corrected, and wouldn't even take very long. After 4 different touch ups they now send me an e-mail saying that actually, clear aligners can't actually address a bite issue, and my treatment is over. There was no issue with the actual location and consultation. I have a complaint about the shipping and handling. I ordered my aligners, I payed for expedited shipping, the package was supposed to be delivered within 5 days. On the 5th day , I still did not receive a package, when I called the company they said that the package wasn't even sent to the postal office. They then informed me that they would have to ship it out now after I had called. A representative informed me that she was going to have a manager call me back ... read more

This company is a fraud i paid over 1300 dollars they sent me 3 different impressions only 4 out of 12 aligners worked. They only refunded me my deposite which was 258. Totally unprofessional the return coordinator speciealist angela v never contacted me back on my refund totally unacceptable do not use this company
