It has been over 2 1/2 years past the projected time to straighten my teeth, and I still haven't seen the results that were promised. I received multiple boxes with either the top or bottom aligners missing and was told to skip to the next one which is very painful and ultimately affected the treatment as well. I'm very disappointed in this product that I was initially so excited about. Their customer service is also very unhelpful.

SmileDirectClub Club intentionally misleads their customers about the years of treatment and the “Lifetime” guarantee. When I signed up and still to this day they never clearly state anywhere that their treatment plans never worked and the “Lifetime” guarantee requires the customer to wear their retainers for the rest of their life as well as purchase their retainers every six months for the rest of your life. Like everyone has said - product/results are mostly fine. One of my 15 aligners was misshapen to the point of not fitting, and two of the 15 had a painful part that poked out that I had to reshape with wax. But the results worked - my bottom teeth are straight. The Customer Service, though, is absolutely awful. I haven't ever experienced customer service so ill-informed, disconnected and generally unhelpful. I have been working with SmileDirectClub (SDC) for 4.5 years. Since 05/03/2019, I have worn their aligners as prescribed and have not achieved the results that were promised to me by SDC. The pictures that accompanied my plan were false. My teeth have not been straightened as the pictures promised. aligner are great, customer service is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!! My retainers arrived 9/30/23 and were defective. I called 10/2 about the initial complaint. After calling 5 times, once a week. Fighting to get e new impression kit. Questioning why the impression kit was sitting there for 5 days with no updates, telling them their job and correcting them when they misspoke, arguing with a supervisor who was NO HELP AT ALL!!!!!!!! The SmileDirectClub aligners did not properly move my teeth and never fit correctly. The further I got along in my journey, the worse the fit got until the aligners did not fit my teeth at all and just got misshapen and useless undef my bite. My first set of aligners dug into my gums and caused severe pain and gum damage. After calling customer service, they told me to file the aligners down. This information should have been provided in the first place. Overall, a horrible experience and 0 results.

My teeth were ruined. I need $7.000 to restore my teeth. Visually, the teeth have become more or less straight. Well, inside the teeth became very uncomfortable and the chewing teeth did not touch each other. I do not advise anyone to go to this clinic. If you want to straighten your teeth, go to the doctor orthodontist.

I was very pleased with my results from the aligners. But after switching to the retainer my teeth started to shift back to where they started. I requested a touch up and new retainers and was denied by the appointed doctor. All the work wearing the aligners for six months wasted because of retainers that don’t fit and a company that doesn’t stand by their warranty!!
