The customer service with SmileDirect Club is HORRIBLE. They have farmed-out to some call center that 1) knows nothing about the company or product 2) says it is "prohibited" for a rep to transfer a call to a manager 3) hadn't even heard of ***as a package courier. I paid extra to have my aligners delivered within a short time frame. That didn't happen as described. Then I got a text saying they had been delivered, which they had NOT. I contacted them on 10/25/23 and was given a case number. Then was sent an email regarding a return and was told if I had any questions to contact them and they would do a video chat to walk me thru the process. Several emails to them that day to get someone to reach out and nothing. Several live chats to be told that it would be expedited to a supervisor and I would get contacted in 24 hours. Nothing. Called several times to be told I would be contacted. Nothing....You can't get anyone to help. Worst Company ever!!!
I started smile direct club about a while ago and the aligners were doing great at first and eventually I wasn’t happy with the results. I cancelled my subscription. I wanted a refund (customer service *****, they just tell you to wait a few days and send you to someone else ) and was told that because I didn’t save any aligners that the only thing they could do was send me a new kit with new aligners (which they also took really long to even update me about ) On to my fourth aligner and they don’t even fit right , and haven... read more
Extremely unhappy with this business and no results. I’ve asked for a refund and have been denied. This is the biggest scam and waste of money. I will be taking legal action If your company issues a refund I won’t take legal action. If not, I will be. I don’t understand how this company can scam people like this and get away with it.
Absolute scam. I started with SMILEDIRECTCLUB over a year and a half ago and my teeth are still crooked - they have made no difference. I have done 7 different touch up kits and they either don’t fit or don’t make any difference. They won’t give me my smile guarantee refund which is the whole reason I picked this company in the first place. I followed all the instructions and wore them every night for the required time. I started my refund process on the second day of my treatment journey due to fit issues that resulted mouth sores. I called the 1-800 number to receive my refund and eventually was told I would receive an email from an account manager. They offered to send me a new fit kit, which I (unfortunately) agreed to. I never ended up receiving my new aligners and now am being told that I can not receive the refund because I have surpassed my 30 day refund window. Zero star company. Ineffective whitening product from Smile direct club. Box clearly states satisfaction guaranteed but this is exemplary of Bait and Switch. Lerato, employee, emailed me there is nothing they can do since I bought the product at ***** ****with the guarantee on the box but did offer me another ineffective product from their inferior line of products for whitening. Smile direct club is terrible. Mistake after mistake. Tell me how my new retainers I ordered don’t fit? I wear my retainers every night. I completed a video phone call with a smile direct employee and they could clearly see the new retainers disn’t fit. I then was told I had to complete a new impression kit and once completed, they’d send me my new retainers. The worst company I have ever dealt with! Completely lacking any moral practices and procedures. The customer service is horrible, WHEN you can ever reach anyone. (Twice I've heard roosters crowing in the background) and good luck being able to understand them after holding the line or calling back over and over. Now they are filing bankruptcy.
